Digital Downloads and how they work

Some (but NOT all) of the images from the events I cover are available as a 'Digital Download'. This means that if you want a particular image I have in my files I will supply it electronically in the form of a download to your computer. Once you have the high resolution images (4288 x 2859 pixels in SRGB colour space) on your computer you are free to have them printed via any one of the online printers such as PhotoBox, print them yourself, put them on your website - anything you like really as long as its for non-commercial purposes.

Basically all you do is make a note of the images you wish to purchase and the name of the gallery they are from (each individual image has a number which you can see in 'Thumbnail' view). Then you make the required payment via PayPal to john@minxpix.co.uk depending on how many images you are buying (images are priced differently from gallery to gallery), entering the gallery name and image numbers in the 'Notes' box on the PayPal website. Once I receive this payment I put your chosen images in a password protected area on my website, send you the link and password and then you are free to download them to your computer (Broadband connection is recommended). The images are then stored in the 'Customer Download Area' of my website for 10 days and then they are deleted so please make sure you have backup copies of the images you have purchased. Copyright stays with MinxPix Photography Ltd but you are granted a non-exclusive royalty free license for non-commercial purposes to use the image as you choose.

If you require images for commercial purposes then please contact me via email info@minxpix.co.uk or give me a ring on 01758 713666.
